Could O Magazine please get a real beauty editor? (Or maybe more sophisticated readers?) I have never understood why Valerie Monroe's photo takes up one-sixth of the page? If my lipstick smears, should I wipe it with a tissue or toilet paper? That's what it sounds like to me. Same sentiment for Lisa Kogan. If I met her, I think I would like her. But I am not interested in a weight-challenged single mother with a toddler and boy problems writing about a weight-challenged single mother with a toddler and the same boy problems we all have. To both: Could we get some depth that goes deeper than my wrinkles?

Newsweek's annual Oscar contender Q&A has got to go away. You're either a celebrity rag or a news magazine. Pick one. To Nicole Kidman: It's easy to take risks when you live in a self constructed bubble. To Natlie Portman: "Just my baby and me?" It takes a village--really. Did that sperm come with a man? Call me when your nanny changes the diaper. To Colin Firth: Next time say something that demonstrates you deserve those looks and that talent.
